Georgian Evening at the National Museum

On 29 November 2017, at the National Museum in Warsaw was celebrated 830th anniversary of the epic of the „Knight in the Pahter Skin” by Szota Rustaweli.

The ceremony, led by Dir. Jan Malicki and Dr. David Kolbaia, was attended by:

HE Ilia Darchiashvili, Ambassador of Georgia in Poland
HE Edgar Ghazaryan, Ambassador of Armenia in Poland
Dr. Piotr Rypson, Director at the National Museum in Warsaw
Małgorzata Maria Gosiewska, Member of the Polish Parliment
Jan Malicki, Director of the Centre for East European Studies
Ks. Dr. Henryk Paprocki, Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church
Dr. David Kolbaia, Centre for East European Studies

as well as members of the Polish Georgian Historical Commission and many prominent representatives of the government, education and culture.
