Joanna Goszczyńska receives the SAS International Award

On 8th September 2017 in the Mirror Hall of the Primal Palace in Bratislava, the Scientific Council of the Slovak Academy of Sciences awarded

Prof. Joanna Goszczyńska

with the International SAS Prize for Excellent Work in the Field of Science and Culture.

The award ceremony took place on September 8, 2017 in Bratislava with the participation of the highest representatives of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the Bratislava University community and representatives of the Polish embassy in Bratislava. In laudation in honor of prof. Goszczyńska the innovative nature of the laureate’s research and the broad spectrum of its scientific interests were mentioned. It has been pointed out that the European context of the Goszczyńska`s research shows methodological progression, which is part of the area of contemporary research on Slovakian history of culture.
