On Saturday, 1st of July, in the Ballroom of the Tyszkiewiczów – Potockich Palace,

inauguration ceremony of the XXVII East European Summer School

took place.

The title of the opening lecture was:

„How in 2017 assess the national consciousness of Ukrainians in 1917?”.

Prof. Daniel Beauvois of the Universite de Paris was the special guest of the ceremony. Professor Beauvois presented his latest book, „Autobiography and Selected Texts.”

Many excellent lecturers and students associated with the Centre for East European Studies attended to the inauguration ceremony. The ceremony was led by prof. Leszek Zasztowt.
