Gamardżoba kino is a film overview of Georgia’s history and culture, organized by the members of the Kaukaz.net foundation. We operate on a voluntary basis – to promote Georgian culture. We want to escape from stereotypes and show Georgia to be other than it is seen by Poles, who are more and more eager to travel there. The third edition of the review will take place on 5-7 April 2019 at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute (Jazdów 1) in Warsaw.

It is the passion for Georgian cinematography that connects us all. We want to show the more complex face of Georgia through presented films. The aim of the overview is to show outstanding productions of the Georgian cinematography to the wider public. During the event, both the works of Georgian cinema masters and the films of contemporary directors will be shown. Gamardżoba kino is not only about film screenings, but debates and lectures as well as the participation of researchers dealing with Georgia.

We will show older and newer films to give viewers a chance to learn about the history and the present of Georgia. Admission to all our events is free.
