On April 16, 2019, a lecture by prof. Peter Káša (Prešov University, Slovakia) entitled „National Movement of Slovaks and Interethnical Relations” took a place in Potocki Palace (University of Warsaw). In his speech, the professor and dr Irena Bilińska from the Centre of East European Studies UW discussed the history of the national identity of the Slovaks against the background of other countries in the region (in particular Hungary) – state consciousness, language, symbolism or culture.
