On November 5, the Marshal of the Polish Sejm, Marek Kuchciński, came to Georgia with the Polish delegation, including the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Szymon Szynkowski vel. Sęk, Deputy Speaker of the Senate Maria Koc, deputies Małgorzata Gosiewska, Magdalena Kochan, Bartosz Jóźwiak and director of the Centre for East European Studies Jan Malicki. During the visit a Polish library and a Polish Institute in Tbilisi were opened. Lech Kończak, Public Diplomacy Counselor of the Polish Embassy in Tbilisi – Lech Kończak was appointed as a director of the Institute.
