Created in 2018 on the 100th anniversary of regaining the Independence of Poland and Georgia announces the recruitment of candidates for the Award for the Academic Year 2020/2021.

Aims to honor the merits of citizens of the Caucasus countries in the development of science, culture and public life, in shaping and developing civil society and building a democratic Caucasus – directed towards Europe, taking into account historical, contemporary and future relations of Caucasus with Poland and Europe.

The award was established in 2018 by: the Centre of East European Studies at the University of Warsaw (initiator) and universities: Gdańsk University of Technology, Poznan University of Technology, University of Lodz, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, University of Rzeszów, University of Warsaw and Ossolińscy National Institute and the College of Eastern Europe in Wrocław.

The Tytus Filipowicz Award:

A 10-month study and teaching stay at Polish universities

and

5 Internships

2-month research stays at Polish universities for candidates in the fields of:

– social sciences,

– science,

– economics,

– technical studies

– humanities

The program is financed jointly by Polish universities and scientific units
