O WEEC  |  Call for Papers  |  Edycje  |  Kontakt

Warsaw East European Conference (WEEC) is one of the most important events devoted to the region of Eastern and Central Europe, the Balkans, the Caucasus and Central Asia held in Warsaw. Ever since 2004, once a year, the historical building of the Old Library of the University of Warsaw changes into a scientific-political-economic center of the region. During a few days of conference, WEEC speakers and listeners present the most important, current and historical issues related to the Eastern issues.

WEEC is the region’s largest conference devoted to problems of the East.

WEEC speakers are world-renowned experts in the region, scientists, politicians, diplomats and journalists. Each year WEEC hosts representatives from almost all the countries of the former Eastern Bloc, Western Europe, the United States and Asian countries.
