On May 26 at the State University of Suma XVIII consortium of Ukrainian Universities and University of Warsaw was held.

The meeting was attended by representatives of 11 Ukrainian universities, representatives of University of Warsaw and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.

During the meeting representatives of University of Warsaw presented the program „Eastern Studies”, a series of 2017/2018 scholarships, the Warsaw East European Conference and the latest issue of „Polish Studies” (Польскі Студії).

During the meeting organizational details of the 4th Summer School in Ostrog for the participants of the program „Eastern Studies in Ukraine” („European Security: Eastern Europe and Ukraine for the Challenges of Hybrid Risks”) were also discussed. Members of meeting has also discussed the participation of the consortiums in the third open competition program of international research agencies .

Jan Malicki, co-chairman of the Polish-Ukrainian Partnership Forum gave a lecture „Strategic needs of Polish-Ukrainian relations: yesterday – tomorrow„.
The meetings included visits to Konotop (Battle of Konotop, July 8, 1659) and to Hadiach (Treaty of Hadiach, September 16, 1658).
