A special jubilee celebration took place on the 26th October 2016, at the Senate Hall of Kazimierzowski UW Palace, on the occasion of the „Eastern Studies” opening anniversary and in the frames of the jubilee year 2016 – 25th anniversary of the Centre for East European Studies.
Master level ,,Eastern Studes” have been opened exactly on the 26th October 1998. Later also „Postgraduate Eastern Studies” have been introduced and in academic year 2012/2013 we enlarged our didactic proposition with Bachelor „Eastern Studies”
The Celebration gathered graduates of „Eastern Studies, special place was reserved of course for the Ist year alumni. We also hosted present and former lecturers, administration staff, rectors of the University of Warsaw and friends of the Centre.
