Our guests – a group of young activists from Russian province, who organized March protests in their home towns – eg. Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Khabarovsk, Tula. The prostest Protests have stirred people in whole country, citizens protested on the streets of 82 Russian cities, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, from the western rim of the Russian Federation to the shores of the Pacific Ocean in the east.

Our guests are young people at the age 19 to 26, mainly students with little or no political experience.

They will tell us about their March experience in the context of the „new wave of protest generation” that emerged during these demonstrations. They explain us their reasons to participate in the protests and describe their vision of the future Russia. Our guests, mostly unknown to either Russian experts or „old opposition”. For Polish policy observers they are a great riddle.

The meeting will be led by Karol Bijos, a graduate of Eastern Europe Studies, former president of the Young Diplomats Association and coordinator of The Young Elections Observers.

We warmly invite you to J. Brudzińskiego Hall at the Kazimierzowski Palace on the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw – our meeting will begin at 6 pm
