On April 30, 2019, in the Ballroom of the Potocki Palace, the 17th Young Academics Caucasus Conference in memory of prof. Tadeusz Świętochowski took place. The conference was organized by the Caucasian Seminar of Eastern European Studies at the University of Warsaw.

The aim of the conference was to present the contemporary problems in the countries of the Caucasus, support students, PhD students and graduates in research related to the region, as well as help to integrate the scientific community of Caucasus researches.
